JOB DESCRIPTION
홍콩, 영국 등과 영어 communication에 원활하여야 하며, 자격증(AICPA, CPA 또는 KICPA ) 필수 입니다.

1. JOB TITLE                Country Finance Manager, South Korea
          
2. REPORTING TO         Country Managing Director, South Korea
Chief Finance Officer, North Asia

3. LOCATION                South Korea

4. JOB PURPOSE           To prepare and deliver financial statements in a timely and quality manner, in accordance with local and international accounting standards, and complies with Intertek’s internal policies.

To ensure the companies comply with local law and regulations on financial reporting, tax filing and other finance related subjects.

To ensure that there is a high standard, sound and effective financial control in place.

To provide detail financial analysis and insight to support Intertek’s management from daily operation to strategic development of the country.
                     
To manage the companies’ capital expenditure, working capital and treasury to ensure strong return on capital employed and strong cash flow.

5. OTHER MAIN DUTIES 

a) Financial                  To prepare budget and forecast.

To ensure strong cashflow. Manage foreign currency exposure in accordance with the Group’s Treasury policy.

To ensure compliance with local and overseas tax regulation on cross border transactions and transfer pricing.

b) Operational        To support Country Managing Director and Business Line Managers in developing business strategies, prepare / review investment proposals, perform post investment evaluation, and review business contracts.
 
To ensure the accounting system is evolved to cope with business needs. Quality accounting services are delivered in a cost efficient manner.
                                 
c) Supervisory      Direct manage the finance team in the country.

Maintain / review the finance structure of the country. Recruit, train, develop and review the performance of each finance staff.

d) Relationships   Work closely with Group / Regional Finance on financial reporting, performance review, tax, treasury, financial control and company secretarial matters.

Work closely with other country finance on intercompany transactions.

                External contacts will be with a wide range of third parties including suppliers, customers, statutory bodies, bankers, auditors and advisors.

6. SKILLS &
ABILITIES         Degree holder in Finance or related disciplines with minimum 10 years of related experience. Qualified accountant with working experience in MNCs would be an advantage.

Strong managerial and leadership skill.

Possess business acumen. Excellent analytical and problem solving skill.

Good project management skill.

Good presentation and people skills, with excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and local language.

IT literate: Finance systems (eg Peoplesoft, SUN, Cognos), MS Office etc.
