Android Developer (South Korea)

Job Description

SmartONE Solutions is working in Partnership with Commax to deliver, support and manage a fully integrated smart community solution in the North American market. SmartONE is currently delivering over 15,000 homes to over 50 buildings in Canada, with expansion plans to the US.

The Android Developer will work at the Commax office in South Korea and report to the SmartONE Software Development team and act as SmartONE’s software team representative in Commax. The person working in this role will work independently, but participate in regular calls with the Canadian project team to make sure that objectives are met. This role involves developing software on the Commax, Android-based wall pad to meet the design needs and required functionality to support the North American market. The successful candidate should have a reasonable ability to understand and communicate in English.

Required Skills:

• Working knowledge and experience in Android Launcher Development.

• Real-time MySQL link development.

• Experience in developing socket communication interworking.

• Knowledge and experience with JSON and XML.

• Experience in Aidl communication.

• Device system app development using build server.

• Experience in SOAP protocol.

• Working knowledge and practical experience with SIP protocol.

• Experience in interlocking Analog Cameras (DVR Interlocking)

Good Skills to have:

• knowledge of cloud computing and services. 

• knowledge of RESTful API integration.

Key Attributes

• Four (4) years of working experience in Android Development.

• Ability to communicate in English at a reasonable level.
